Lowcountry Quail Forever Chapter

Q&A with the Lowcounty Chapter

What are Lowcountry QF’s goals?

Our goal as a chapter is to help people understand what we can do as hunters and land managers to improve the bobwhite quail numbers in South Carolina. We believe focusing on youth education, growing the number of female shooters, and introducing new shooters of all ages to the upland sports is imperative for bobwhite to make a long term comeback.

Where does donated money go?

Helping fund habitat improvement on public land in the low country is our top fundraising goal. Money raised by our chapter will stay in SC and go to help improve Wildlife Management Area’s open to all hunters. We also will use funds to help educate private land owners on things they can do to improve bird numbers on their property.”

Where all is included in your geographic chapter?

Allendale, Hampton, Jasper, Bamberg, Colleton, Dorchester, Charleston, Berkeley, Williamsburg, Georgetown, Marion, and Horry County.

If you live in the Lowcountry region, we would love to have you join us! Check out the events page to find our upcoming events!
